A Mediterranean holiday is definitely not complete without a meal by the sea. And if you’re staying in Palma, you’ll be staying close to great options to do that. So, let’s get down to business!

Balneario Illetas – a favourite for locals and visitors!

Balneario Illetas is a restaurant located at the beautiful beach of ‘Illetas’. Only 15 minutes away from Palma, this stunning beach is a family-favourite, due to its easy access and crystal-clear, calm water. The white-sanded beach is home to the restaurant serving fresh, tasty Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant also has a premium sunbed area to spend the day with the whole family.

Some of the #Nakarfavorites on the menu are: the salmon tartar with guac’, the Burrata salad, the Lobster sandwich for a snack on the sunbed, their Spider crab and monkfish croquettes, the seafood and fish paella and their lobster with fried eggs. Yummy!

Assaona – first-class cuisine by the sea!

Assaona Gastro beach club is an invitation to enjoy a culinary experience with all 5 senses. Located only 5 minutes away from Palma’s city centre (about 10 minutes away from Nakar Hotel), they offer a fun space open from dawn until dusk with impeccable service and killer views. At Assaona you’ll find the perfect combo of delicious signature cocktails, an exclusive wine menu and the most succulent dishes created by their chef.

Il Chiringo Beach – great food with your toes in the sand

Also close to Palma, in the holiday resort ‘Palmanova’, located about 20 minutes away from Palma’s city centre, you’ll find one of our favourite ‘chiringuitos’ (beach bars) on the island. We’re talking about ‘Il Chiringo’, a seafront restaurant that is literally located on the sand. With a laid-back atmosphere and a fun décor, ‘Il Chiringo’ stands for holiday vibes at its best.

Some of the #Nakarfavorites on the menu are: Truffle ravioli, Salmon fillet, Spaghetti with clams, Tuna or salmon poke bowl or their ‘Louisiana’ style pork ribs. They cook their meat and fish on the Josper grill and we love it!
