Top 3 spots to watch the sunset in Mallorca
To be honest, there are tons of beautiful spots to watch the sunset on Mallorca. With that being said, it hasn’t been easy to choose just three, but we’ve definitely tried or best to choose the most spectacular ones. Ready? Let’s watch the sunset!
Sa Foradada – live the ultimate Mediterranean experience
If you’ve read a thing or two about Mallorca, you’ve probably came across the ‘Sa Foradada’ viewpoint. Located between the beautiful villages of Deià and Valldemossa, ‘Sa Foradada’ is about 30 minutes away from Palma. The name Sa Foradada comes from the large hole in the rock which, according to a legend, was caused by a pirate cannonball. The plan for a sunset here is to have a few beers with friends and just watch the sky turn into a painting made out of red, orange and yellow tones. If you want to live a gastronomic experience, you can hike down to a restaurant that also offers Mediterranean cuisine. The true Mediterranean experience!
Puerto de Andratx – romantic setting for an idyllic sundowner
Due to its location in Mallorca’s western coast, Puerto de Andratx stands for a unique location to watch the sunset. What makes a sunset in Puerto de Andratx so special? You can sit on the terrace of one of their many restaurants and literally watch the sun go down in the horizon while sipping on your fav’ cocktail. Extra bonus? On a clear day, right before sunset, you can see all the way from Mirador de la Mola to Ibiza.
