Concerts and festivals in Mallorca summer 2024
Just like every year, there are a ton of different artists visiting us this summer. Some of these concerts will definitely add to your summer experience on the island.
Es Jardí – Mediterranean Boutique Festival
‘Es Jardí’ is a Mediterranean Boutique Music Festival taking place all summer and featuring singers like Carlos Vives, Babasónicos, India Martínez, Amaral, Viva Suecia, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Ana Mena and more. In a fun atmosphere and surrounded by good vibes, there’s also a VIP area and a kid’s area on the grounds of the festival. Here’s their website for you to check out dates and prices.
Palma Concert Series – international singers visiting Mallorca
On the other hand, ‘Palma Concert Series’ has been giving the city a whole new vibe, by attracting international musicians to perform in an intimate and unique experience. Other concerts taking place this summer
Other renowned artists hosting concerts in Mallorca this summer are: Ricky Martin (Son Fusteret on the 28th of July); Anuel AA, Saiko, Maria Becerra, Álvaro Díaz, El Alfa and Tainy (on the 13th and 14th of July in Can Picafort); Julieta Venegas, Mushkaa and Joan Miquel Oliver (at the Mobofest on the 25th, 26th and 27th of July in Porreres) and the 12th edition of the ‘Port Adriano Music Festival’ featuring Youssou N’Dour, Toquinho and Alphaville in August.
Classical music festivals
Just like every year, July is the month for the ‘Deià International Music Festival’, which goes on all over July, August and September. The extraordinary settings within the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, combined with the first-class music performances make for a memorable event, so do make sure you book your tickets in advance, by clicking here.
Also in July, the renowned ‘Chopin Classical Music Festival’ takes place in the stunning Carthusian Monastery in Valldemossa. Other things to do in Mallorca this summer
Last, but not least, there are some other things we would highly recommend you do while staying in Mallorca this summer. The ‘Sunset Market’ in Puerto Portals is a fun way to spend the evening among food stalls, fashion and activities for the whole family in July and August. ‘Cinema a la Fresca’ is another fun activity to enjoy while visiting Palma: it’s an open-air cinema located at Palma’s cathedral, where you can watch children’s films, new releases, classic movies and award-winning films too!
