Plan for a day: visit Delta beach

Oh, happy summer day. We wouldn’t change the nice weather for anything here on the island. As soon as the sun started shining back more back in May, we were SO ready to hit the beach! But, of course, water was still cold back then. Even though we have been visiting some of our favourite beaches since April, we can now say that everything is PERFECT to spend the day at the beach.

Warm water (but still cold enough to actually be refreshing when the summer heat starts hitting you), turquoise water, White sand, sunrays… everything is just idyllic during this time of the year.

This is why our ‘plan for the day’ this month will be about spending the day at a beautiful beach called ‘Delta’.

Delta Beach Mallorca

Only 20 kilometres away from Palma between S’Arenal and Cala Pi, you’ll find ‘Delta’. It is surrounded by a rocky area, making it very ‘Mediterranean’. There are several bathing spots along ‘Delta’, the furthest along being nudist areas (if you want to take a skinny dip, you’re very welcome to try!). One of the things we like the most about ‘Delta’ is its calmness. It’s a truly relaxing beach where the further you walk, the lonelier you’ll be.

Perfect spot for a full beach day. And if you feel like giving yourself a nice treat, you can have lunch or dinner at the nearby restaurant called ‘Beach Club Delta’: food, drinks & sea. Count us in!
