Led by Majorcan chef Miquel Calent, CUIT is not only a ‘must’ for hotel guests, but has also become the go-to restaurant when in search of a Mediterranean experience.
And our dearest Miquel Calent is much more than CUIT. He owns and leads a restaurant called ‘Can Calent’ side by side with his brother, Joan in Campos. Passion for food and wine in a lovely setting for food lovers from all over the world.
In addition to his two gastronomic projects (Can Calent and CUIT) he also hosts a TV show on the local channel IB3. ‘Fred i Calent’ is a food and nutrition show led by Miquel Calent in good company of food blogger Marta Simonet, where they mix tradition, nutrition, science and modernity with useful and curious information about everything we eat.
Before ‘Fred i Calent’ he also participated on other TV shows like ‘Cuina Guanya’, ‘En Companyia’, ‘Aixó és Mel’ and ‘Una micona mès’. But it has been ‘Fred i Calent’ where he has been able to show his extensive knowledge about the island’s produce, nutrition and the combination of unique flavours of our beloved island. ‘Fred i Calent’ airs every Wednesday at 22.15h on IB3 TV.
