11. OMG, yes, 11. It’s already month number eleven and we feel like 2019 just started. Do you feel the same? Well, it doesn’t really make a difference; because the truth is that we’re now facing the end of the year. As usual, we carry good news, as November holds tons of events and ‘musts’. Let’s dot his!
November musts in Mallorca by Nakar Hotel
As you already know, we’re really into Palma and Mallorca in general: into its tradition, history, gastronomic offer and everything that has to do with its roots. Our November musts certainly will give you some perspective of what our island has to offer.
Christmas lights in Palma
One of the most magical times of the year is coming! And on November, the 28th the whole city lightens up when the Christmas lights are turned on.
Children and grown ups gather at ‘Plaza de las Tortugas’, really close to Nakar to enjoy a festive atmosphere, activities and more!
Olive fair in Caimari
November is also the month for the famous ‘Olive fair’ in Caimari to take place. Recently we talked to you about olive oil made in Mallorca and this fair is the perfect opportunity for you to try the best products made out of olives. Taking place on November the 15th, during this fair you can also visit the old village olive press and see how the oil is produced!
Mushroom fair in Mancor de La Vall
Moving on to yet another fair, Mancor de La Vall hosts its annually mushroom fair over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of November. It’s mushroom season and the fair celebrates the popular ‘escalata-sang’ variety with a lively ‘Nit del Foc’ featuring the traditional ‘dimonis’ and more.
Tapas tour at ‘1930 market’
As days are getting colder, we’re thinking more and more about fun things to do without having to depend on the weather.
And one thing that always fits in is going on a tapas-tour. If you want to try a little bit of everything, the gastronomic market at Palma’s promenade – 1930 – is perfect! Go have a look ☺
Sara Baras Ballet in Palma
Last, but not last, we had to point out that the Ballet Flamenco Sara Baras will be performing on the 29th and 30th of November at Palma’s Auditorium.
Passion, tradition and a breath-taking presentation in case you want to dive into the world of flamenco.
