Best cocktail bars in Palma
Palma is known for its many lively restaurants and bars. And, as city-lovers we cannot do less than tell you all about what our list of favorite cocktail bars in Palma are. Are you ready to go sip on your fav’ drink in the Mediterranean city of your dreams?
Agabar – margaritas and more!
“Tequila has been to blame for everything good that has happened to us”. That’s how Cristian Balta and Gabriela Tandazo describe their adventure in opening Agabar a few years ago. Located at the lively street C/ Fábrica, Agabar is the place to go to for delicious cocktails, especially tequila. The best part? It’s also a cozy place to spend the evening or the night. Totally Nakar-approved!
Nakar says: we know you’ll probably go for tequila, but if not, give their ‘New York Sour’ a try.
Palma Riad Cocktail Bar – a night to remember.
If you’re looking for the ‘it spot’ in the city, this is it. The cocktail bar at Palma Riad will catch your attention due to its décor and ambiance first: a dark and mysterious entrance lead to a beautiful bar with ornate chandeliers and a chic, yet cosy atmosphere. Pre- or post-dinner, it’s the perfect place to order your cocktail of choice.
Nakar says: their spicy margarita is the best on the island.
Ginbo – drinks close to Nakar Hotel.
Some years ago Ginbo was chosen as the best cocktail bar in Spain. 67 judges sampled some of their specialties at FIBAR and gave Ginbo that (well-deserved) first place. If you’re up to having a great cocktail in a fun atmosphere really close to Nakar Hotel, this is the place to go!
Nakar says: Perfect moment for a cocktail at Ginbo: right after dinner!
Nicolás – city vibes at its best
Located at the popular ‘Plaza del Mercat, in Palma’s Old Town, close to ‘Gran Hotel’ and our design hotel, Nicolás has been serving cocktails for decades. Versatile, cosmopolitan and with a bistro touch, it offers a fun cocktail menu. With pro bartenders giving high attention to details, you’ll never go wrong at Nicolás.
Nakar says: we absolutely love their ‘Hanky Panky’.
Chapeau 1987 – fancy, signature cocktails in Palma
Originally opened in 1987 and later on featuring one of the best come backs in the city in 2015, Chapeau 1987 is a must visit for whisky lovers, not to mention those who appreciate expertly-crafted cocktails. Offering old-school decor and ambience, with wood panelling and cosy lighting, the bar’s signature cocktails are well worth exploring.
Nakar says: Whisky is a priority here, so go for it!
Brass Club – New York vibes in Palma
Barman and owner of Brass Club, Rafa Martin, is a true genius mixing and serving delicious cocktails in Palma. He even represented Spain in the world championship in Bejing in 2012 and came home with the bronze medal. It’s more than worth a try!
Nakar says: there are way too many cocktails we love, which is why we recommend to always listen to Rafa, who’ll give you the best advice!
Ábaco – one-of-a-kind setting for cocktails
Ábaco is not the regular cocktail bar in Palma. It is famous for being, in fact, very unusual. Why? It takes you back in time to an era of opulence and grandeur which can be seen in its flower-and-fruit bedecked walls. You’ll get an even clearer picture when the classic music starts playing.
Nakar says: Their ‘First Kiss’ is one of our favorites!
