The ‘March’ musts by Nakar Hotel
We can’t be happier about your feedback you’ve given us for the ‘February’ musts last month. We are pleased to hear that we helped you plan your Palma holiday & that you could make the most out of it! And with this wonderful success, we are ready to move one month forward and give you.
The ‘March musts’ when in Palma by Nakar Hotel
March is a happy month. It’s the official ‘welcoming spring’ month and this Mediterranean island changes its colours. And Palma, as usual, is the perfect spot to enjoy this month!
For starters, you need to know that on March, the 1st its the ‘Day of the Balearic Islands’. We celebrate the commemoration of the signing of the Statute of Autonomy on 1st March 1983. And, as you could imagine, in Palma there’s a lot going on on that day. It is an official holiday, which means everything is closed. There are plenty of celebrations all over the island, but if you’re in Palma, ‘Paseo Sagrera’ is the place to go to. With over 30 stalls, you will find handcrafts, Majorcan gastronomy and traditions from all over the Balearic Islands to really discover our roots.
Another ‘March must’ for us at Nakar Hotel is a really nice outdoor activity which is combined with one of our favourite things: wine. Because: who wouldn’t love a nice glass of wine? Mallorca is famous for its spectacular wine and when visiting Palma in march we highly recommend going on a wine tour in the area of Binissalem. There are plenty of ‘bodegas’ to choose from and if you’re feeling like this wine-route-thing is calling you, we will be happy to do all the arrangements, just let us know at the Nakar front desk!
Last, but not least, you couldn’t be in Palma in March without having brunch at our sunny restaurant at Nakar Hotel. CUIT hosts a delicious brunch every Sunday from 12h to 15h. What will you be enjoying? First things first: food.
Our talented and well-known chef Miquel Calent gets brunch to a whole new level. All kind of warm and cold dishes, sweet and savoury, that will make you feel the true happiness of having breakfast and lunch at the same time.
A wide selection of eggs, tortillas, cheese and ham, all kind of bread and pastries and even salmon tartar, rice dishes, grilled meat will be waiting for at CUIT restaurant you to come and get them all! And if you combine this with the breath taking views over the cathedral and Palma’s bay you got what we like to call: ‘the perfect Sunday combo’. Click here for more info!
As usual, you can ask us for more interesting things to do in Palma and you can also take a look at our comprehensive blog, which is actually a complete guide of Palma & also other amazing spots of the island.
