A couple weeks ago we started our recommendations for the best restaurants in Palma. We want to offer all of you who are visiting Palma (and maybe staying at our hotel) the insider knowledge you need to go straight to the hot spots of Palma’s gastronomic scene.
Last time we highlighted the best restaurants in the areas of Jaime III/ Sant Jaume.
Today we’re heading towards another must-visit zone of the capital city of the Balearic island: we’re heading towards Cort / Plaza Mercat.

Es Rebost, Palma
With two venues in Palma’s center, one at Jaime III (just in front of Nakar Hotel) and the other at Calle the corner of Calle Olmos and Ramblas, Es Rebost stands for local and delicious food. Their motto ‘Mallorca fast slow food’ is what you can expect of their dishes while enjoying an authentic Majorcan space. Great fact: you can also order your dishes to-go and enjoy ‘Es Rebost’ wherever you feel like having a Majorcan lunch or dinner. Does it get any better than this?
Vermutería La Rosa, Palma
A restaurant with charm. That’s how we would define Vermutería La Rosa. Every detail is taken care of and it offers a cozy atmosphere for everyone visiting this hot spot at Plaza Weyler. With some of Palma’s best vermuts, this restaurant offers typical Spanish ‘tapas’ to share with friends and family.
Bi bap, Palma
Directly at the well-known Plaza del Mercat, bi bap offers delicious Asian cuisine. Fresh, healthy and colorful dishes are ON when it comes down to having lunch or dinner at the beautifully decorated restaurant. Tons of ecological options too!
Marc Fosh, Palma
Michelin-starred restaurant by renowed chef Marc Fosh serving Mediterranean cuisine with emphasis on clean flavours and seasonal ingredients. Its modern and light interior is highly appealing, which is why you will enjoy a high-end gastronomic experience when visiting.
