Palma Guide – Best restaurants for a romantic dinner in Palma

September in Palma. Honestly, we could stop right there.

The summer crowds are starting to disappear, the evenings are getting that little bit softer, and the city feels… well, pretty perfect. Add two people, a bottle of wine and a table for two, and you have yourself a romantic evening in Palma.

But where should you go for dinner? We’ve done the hard work for you. Here’s our Nakar guide to some of the best places in Palma for a date night, anniversary, special occasion or simply because you both deserve a really good dinner.

Best restaurants for a romantic dinner in Palma

Fera Palma: for the “let’s make a night of it” date

Right in the centre of Palma, Fera is one of those restaurants that feels special from the moment you walk in. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is intimate and the food is seriously impressive.

The cuisine takes Mediterranean ingredients and gives them an international twist, making this a great choice when you want something sophisticated without feeling stuffy.

Our tip? Take your time. This is not a ‘quick dinner before heading somewhere else’ kind of place. This is the whole evening.

El Camino: for food lovers

If your idea of romance involves sitting opposite someone you like while sharing excellent food, put El Camino on the list.

Located in the heart of Palma, El Camino is all about seasonal ingredients, Mediterranean flavours and the theatre of the open kitchen and counter. It’s lively, stylish and definitely not boring.

It’s also the perfect place when you want dinner to feel like an experience rather than just… dinner. Although, with this food, conversation may not last very long.

Drinks at Palma Riad, dinner at Tast Club: for the Palma night out

Now for something a little different.

Start your evening at Palma Riad, tucked away in the old town. It’s atmospheric, intimate and wonderfully hidden from the busy streets outside. The perfect place for a pre-dinner drink, especially when you’re in the mood for cocktails and a little bit of romance.

Then, once you’ve had your drink (or two, we’re not judging), walk over to Tast Club for dinner.

Tast Club is all about sharing: Spanish flavours, tapas, wine and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it very easy to order ‘just one more thing’.

This is a great option for a date night when you don’t want everything to feel too polished or formal. Just good food, good drinks and plenty of time together.

And that’s a pretty good recipe for romance.

CUIT Restaurant at NAKAR: for dinner with a view

Sometimes you don’t actually need to leave the hotel.

Located at the top of Nakar Hotel, CUIT Restaurant brings together Mediterranean cooking, Mallorcan ingredients and spectacular city views. The kitchen is led by Majorcan chef Miquel Calent, known for his modern take on the island’s culinary traditions.

And then there’s the view. From up here, Palma looks particularly good at sunset, when the rooftops start to glow and the city slowly lights up around you.

So if you’re staying at Nakar, this is the easy romantic option. No taxi. No directions. No wondering whether you picked the right restaurant. Just head upstairs, order a bottle of something good and watch Palma do its thing.

Honestly, not a bad date night.

Adrian Quetglas: for something a little different

And finally, Adrian Quetglas. Just a short walk from Nakar, this is a brilliant option if you want creative food, great wine and a dinner that gives you plenty to talk about afterwards.

The chef’s cuisine reflects his international background while keeping Mallorca firmly in the picture. The result? Interesting, modern and full of flavour.

And yes, being close to the hotel definitely gets extra points from us.

So… where are you going?

September is arguably one of our favourite times to enjoy Palma. The city is still buzzing, the Mediterranean is still warm and there’s no better excuse for dressing up and heading out for dinner. Our advice?

Book a table. Put your phone away for a while. Order something delicious. And enjoy the person sitting opposite you.

Romance with good food, good drinks and Palma at sunset? Perfect plan.

See you in Palma.
